If you haven’t tried the Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation
yet, you must be one of a handful and this review is for you.
I, like most women I have spoken to about this foundation, have a love-hate
relationship with it. There are some things that are so perfect and others that
couldn’t be more wrong.
What I love:
• Despite it being a mineral powder, the finish is not dull and
matte. It is quite luminous and flattering.
• It feels like I have nothing on my face
• It gives an even coverage without much effort
• It’s great in all types of climates
• It lasts throughout the day
What I don’t love:
• I feel like I have to use a lot of product to get medium coverage
(not even full coverage)
• Stila has spoiled me with their rubber stopper, and this product
moves around a lot which causes more wastage
• It leaves my undereyes in quite an unsightly condition –
somewhat gray and sallow. I’ve noticed this on many women that use this
product.
• For women using this product for full coverage, it tends to make
the whole face look sallow. I recommend this for light to medium coverage only.
While this would never end up in my train case for various reasons, I still
keep it around for personal use. |
