Never Too Late to Start! |

We hear so much about health and nutrition, that sometimes we feel overloaded.
Our hectic lifestyle favours "quick and easy". The truth is, our body
is like a bank, the effort and care we invest in it is what we will earn as a
return - similar to an investment savings. It pays off in healthy returns when
we need it most if we start investing right now - it is never too late to
start.
Breakfast
Simply the most important meal of the day! Count the hours since you last ate,
and your next meal. Would you expect your vehicle to run on "air" and
perform well? Always start your day with a glass of water to flush out your
system. Eat a proper breakfast (fruit and yogurt, or cereal (watch the sugar
content), or bagel and cheese are all good options). The internet, magazines,
are some good sources of simple, easy recipes and nutrition information. Also,
read the ingredients and calorie section of all food purchases to help you make
better choices - anything that begins with sugar as the first ingredient -
avoid).
Exercise
With our warm weather, take the opportunity to rise a 1/2 hour earlier, and go
for a brisk early morning walk - enjoy the beauty of nature and the fresh air -
it will make a difference in how you feel. If you can't get outside, then open
a window, and walk in place for as long as you can. Every little bit of
exercise is adding interest to your investment, and you will reap a higher
reward as time goes on. Make time for yourself, no one else will.
Beauty
Diet plays a significant role in what our skin, hair and teeth look like. Eat
more vegetables and fruits for a smoother and clearer complexion. Avoid greasy
foods.
Result=Eat better, be more active, and find yourself feeling better, sleeping
better and looking better!
